On the prowl for cat cafes in New Jersey? In The Garden State fans of felines are cultivating their love for our pals who meow at a cat lounge in Palmyra that has flourished since opening its doors in February 2018.
The Cats of PURRsonal Space Cat Lounge
The first cat cafe in South Jersey, PURRsonal Space Cat Lounge features adoptables from Animal Welfare Association of NJ, a non-profit which united 2,593 cats, dogs and rabbits with loving families in 2017.
The 411 for Foodies
Although food is not available at the facility, visitors are invited to order tasty treats from nearby eateries, which can be enjoyed in an area apart from the cats’ quarters, the Palmyra Sun reports.
Fun with Felines
Cat lovers should mark their calendars for the cafe’s many special activities and events:
- purrfect your Downward Dog with the help of a purring partner during a session of Cat on Your Mat Yoga.
- make a cat-themed souvenir of your stay at Mommy and Me Crafts.
- drink a toast to our furry friends during Wine and Design with Cats.
- learn about the well-being of our kitty companions during talks which cover aspects of cat care.
