British pop sensation Ed Sheeran may have earned a multitude of accolades since the release of his debut album in 2011, but it was his resemblance in wax which recently won the hearts of a clowder of rescue cats when Madame Tussauds London unveiled the likeness of the famous friend of felines at the London cat cafe Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium.
The Kitties of Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium
While the simulated shape of “The Shape of You” singer is now at its permanent place of residence at Madame Tussauds’ London location, sightings of the cat cafe’s real stars will make the hearts of every fan of felines “Sing!”
The oldest and longest running cat cafe in London is a forever home for 14 rescue cats, among them a captivating calico called Mue, the mother of residents Donnie and Biscuit; a tabby-striped teddy bear dubbed Wookie; a noir beauty named Victor who is described by those at Lady Dinah’s as “an angel on earth”; and a troupe of tuxedo cats which includes Carbonelle, Lizzie, Peter, Wendy, Tink, Dorian, Cecil, Sybil and Salome.
Hoping that the kitties’ company will convince customers to adopt a purring pal of their own, Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium helps to unite felines in need with forever families through its network of fosters.
The 411 for Foodies
Although feasting your eyes on the cat cafe’s plethora of purring residents will feed the soul, customers can also satisfy their stomachs at Lady Dinah’s by ordering such menu selections as the soup of the day, filled croissants, paninis, a mozzarella, tomato and basil salad, and tasty sweet treats like red velvet cake, a scone with jam and cream, or a salted caramel brownie. The mouth-watering items can be washed down with a variety of soft drinks, juices, teas and even specialty drinks named in honor of a few of the cafe’s famous felines!
Special Events and Activities
Visitors who make a reservation can partake of the most English of meals, High Tea, with cats for company!
Customers can enjoy a seasonal selection of treats (such as filled baguettini, savory tarts, and scones with jam and clotted cream), a choice of beverages, and up to 90 minutes with some furry friends.
The cafe also hosts occasional charity events, such as an upcoming tea party to benefit International Cat Care, an organization which– for the past 60 years– has been concerned with the health and welfare of all of our feline friends, including the most vulnerable, stray and feral cats.

Fun Fact
Surprisingly, Sheeran’s is not the first wax form to melt the hearts of cat lovers. In 2017, the faux figure of Sheeran’s pal Taylor Swift helped to shine a spotlight on adoptables from Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue when it was displayed alongside a meowing menagerie at Madame Tussauds San Francisco.
