Are you looking for ways to keep your cat active and playful? To engage in his or her natural hunting behaviors–while sparing your furniture?
Wand toys are a great way to spend quality time playing with your cat–and give your cat important physical and mental exercise at the same time! We just had the chance to try out two new wands from RompiCatz: the RompiCatz Critter Collector series and the Adjustable String Wand.
Our cats went crazy for both wands, and we think your cats will, too!
Critter Collector Series
Bring out your cat’s natural hunting skills with RompiCatz Critter Collector wand toys (rebranded from Neko Flies). Each toy features a hand-crafted “critter” on a string that attaches to the rod with a super easy lobster claw clasp:
The collection is varied with styles to attract your cat:
Which would your cat choose? The options are:
- Cattimoth
- Wily Mouse
- Cattipeed
- Cattikets
- Catipider
- Cagonfly
- BugzBird
We tried out the Cattimoth:
Before I could get it snapped on the wand, Lucky and Jetty were ready to play!
Adjustable String Wand
RompiCatz also offers the Adjustable String Wand. Like the name suggests, the length of the string in this innovative wand adjusts for your cat’s play style–and your space!
Do you have an active cat and room to play? Lengthen the string and let your cat leap, run and pounce on the wand’s attached “mouse,” “bug” or crinkle ball. The string can be lengthened to 36 inches for big play sessions.
Or are you busy on a Zoom call and looking for a quiet distraction as your cat sits on the floor beside you? Shorten the string for close-up play.
To change the length of the string, all you do is open the handle compartment at the base of the 18″ rod:
Pull the string to the desired length–the extra stores in the handle!
You can easily switch out the attachments to suit the play style of the cat you’re playing with or to keep your cat’s interest. Lucky and Jetty tried out the Mouse toy:
Our cats give both wand styles a BIG paws up!
