Review: Up Country Cat Collars

Does your cat wear a collar? If so, don’t miss the USA-made Up Country cat collars, each featuring a nylon webbing and a stylish ribbon designed by the company’s artist.

Up Country has long been known for their stylish dog collars and leashes but the kitties aren’t left out of the fun at this US-based company! There’s an entire kitty collection of Up Country Cat Collars.

We reviewed the “Say Cheese Cat Collar” which is as cute as cute can be, featuring mice and, of course, cheese!

This is an adjustable breakaway collar specifically for cats; if your cat should become snagged on a hook in your house or a tree out in the yard, the collar will break away and prevent choking.

The collar also includes a tag loop so you can attach your cat’s ID tag or license.

The Up Country cat collars are currently priced at $12.

You’ll find a wide selection of other styles; some of our favorites are Anchors Aweigh

Cat collars are available in two sizes — 10 and 12 — for smaller cats like our Lucky or larger kitties like our Jetty.

Where are Up Country Cat Collars Made?

All Up Country collars are made in East Providence, Rhode Island. The company began in 1984.

Does Up Country Give Back to Shelters?

For all the stylishness and practicality of the collars, though, there’s another side to Up Country that’s a huge plus to us, too: adopters at the Rhode Island SPCA collect a new collar and lead set from Up Country. “It’s our way of saying thank you and good luck to the lucky new family and pet,” explains the Up Country catalog. This is truly a company with a big heart for pets.

A big paws up for Up Country!!
