His comedic stunts have made fans gasp and giggle, and Steve-O’s latest feat has fans of felines cheering as the former MTV star has announced that he has adopted a young rescue cat.
Sharing the happy news on social media, Steve-O introduced the world to little Olivia, a tiny tabby who was among a group of kittens being fostered at the Spay Neuter Project of Los Angeles clinic in Pico Rivera. The proud pet parent to rescue dogs Walter and Bernie met his new purring pal as he helped to tackle the problem of pet overpopulation by volunteering to take a few furry friends from a rescue organization to the clinic to be spayed or neutered.
Thanks @steveo for fixing #pets at @SNPLA – and #adopting our #foster #cat. You’re truly a #hero for #animals! pic.twitter.com/4xQB6S1atc — SpayNeuterProjectLA (@SNPLA) October 30, 2015
The day after the animal-loving luminary adopted Olivia he helped other companion animals in their quest to find forever families during an appearance at an adopt-a-thon at East Valley Animal Care Center in Van Nuys. Among the many adorable adoptables he met was Duchess, a six-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix:
