Everyone’s favorite Cat Daddy is helping our purring pals who need pet parents with the launch of The Jackson Galaxy Foundation.
Through the Animal Planet personality’s new non-profit organization, the My Cat from Hell star will spread cat mojo to shelters by enhancing the design and construction of kitty accommodations and shelter digs for dogs; educating both shelter staff and adopters to the nature of cat comportment in an afford to increase adoptions; and by providing immediate support to shelters in need with food and funds.
“My work with the Humane Society made me aware of the harsh realities of pet overpopulation,” the famous feline behaviorist stated. “I believe that no animal should die waiting for a home, so the ultimate goal of our organization is the help save the four million animals that die in shelters each year.”
To mark the start of the Jackson Galaxy Foundation’s mission, Wellness Natural Pet Food is making a contribution of more than $20,000 in natural dog and cat food to aid shelters in critical need. Fans of felines and dog devotees can also help the paws cause via a ‘like’ or share post on Wellness Natural Pet Food’s Facebook page. For each like or share, Wellness will donate $1 (up to $8,000 overall) to the Jackson Galaxy Foundation.
