The countdown is on for BarkWorld Expo in Atlanta next month; I just purchased my airline ticket to Atlanta! This year’s event is featuring a larger section especially for cat lovers: MeowWorld! We’ll have more on that section in our next update but, for now, here’s a rundown of new features for this year’s event, scheduled for October 25-27:
- The BarkWorld mobile app is now available on iTunes (and soon Android). I *just* got an iPhone so I’m about to download this!
- Petco will be giving away a $10.00 gift card to every pre-registered attendee.
- This year’s event features several new features including a Genius Squad. If you’ve got tech problems (and don’t we all??!), you can leave a comment on the BarkWorld site and the discussion will start up!
- Cooking Demonstrations by Kim Clune and Amy Burkert with treats for cats and dogs inspired by The Honest Kitchen!
- Pet CPR Demonstrations to learn what to do if your pet chokes…or if you suddenly need to evacuate your pets in an emergency.
