Tuesday is Volunteer Action Day, a call to action by People Saving Pets™, a social media initiative empowered by PetSmart Charities®. On November 8, 2011, the event, which coincides with National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week (Nov. 6-12, 2011), will encourage pet lovers to volunteer at their local animal welfare organizations.
