Like so many places around the country, we’ve been wrestling with Winter Storm Inga this week. Considerable icing was forecast, although thankfully we wound up with sleet rather than freezing rain. I was hoping for snow but no such luck!
The temperatures did fall to incredibly low levels for us; last night was just NINE degrees. For the first time that I’ve ever seen, our creek froze:
Only the shallow portion of the creek froze so the coyotes and other animals still had running water in the deeper areas.
The roads have now been cleared, and this afternoon I was finally able to get to the post office to ship our PawZaar orders. We’re expecting another cold, cold night…but, as always, Jetty and Lucky have the right idea for staying warm!
