When the Thanksgiving dishes were put away, my thoughts turned to our holiday decorations. This will be Ochi’s very first Christmas…so it made me wonder if we should consider getting out our big tree and all the ornaments:
I decided to do a test run with a miniature little tree I bought last year. It’s a turquoise tree (which I bought to shoot product photos for our PawZaar gift store, since the store’s main color is turquoise).
Ochi was instantly fascinated by the little tree and the test string of ornaments I unboxed.
So far, the test is going well. After the initial fascination (and test chew of a “branch”), she lost interest. I’m going to watch her closely the next few days and just see if it looks like our full-sized tree would be either a chewing or a climbing temptation. Stay tuned for the verdict!
