Seven years ago today we adopted Inca at our local shelter!
She was just six months old when we brought her home:
Inca had a bad case of ringworm which left a bloody spot near her ear so she required frequent baths, but couldn’t have been more of a lady about it all. She quickly made friends with our other cats:
Just a few months later, our neighbor found a tiny four-week-old kitten at the post office and asked us if we’d like to have her…and Inca found herself becoming “mom” to Coco:
Coco soon outgrew Inca so today she holds the title as the smallest of our pets…but she has a big place in all our hearts and is a buddy not only to our other cats but also to our dogs:
Happy Gotcha Day, Inca!!
