Today is our Felix’s 12th birthday (well, actually his gotcha day!)
We adopted Felix from a municipal shelter when we was about six months old. He was a feral cat and recommended to be a barn cat. Felix has lived indoors ever since the day of his adoption, though, and, while it took a long time and a lot of patience, this former feral proved to us that you can definitely tame a feral cat. We may have taught Felix all about living indoors but he has taught us far, far more.
When Irie and Tiki joined our family, we were worried that Felix might not get along well with them, each adopted at six months old. Were we wrong. Felix is pretty sure he’s our third dog 🙂
