A better tomorrow is in the cards for homeless cats and canines thanks to animal lovers age 21 and over who will put on their poker faces for a paws cause at the fourth annual Vice is Nice fundraiser.
Taking place July 27, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. – midnight at Rancho Providencia in Chatsworth, California, actor Eric Roberts; Christopher Knight, Susan Olsen and Robbie Rist from the classic TV series The Brady Bunch and talk radio’s Mark Thompson from KFI 640 AM will be among the attendees at the event, which will raise funds for Petopia Animal Rescue, an adoption center which helps four animal rescue organizations that provide comfort and care for pets in need when the chips are down:
Animal Rescue Alliance and Farm Sanctuary
Precious Paws
Southern California Pomeranian Rescue
Presented by Kelly Holland and Rancho Providencia, pre-registration for the poker tournament is $55, or $65 at the door. It’s a sure bet that those that don’t gamble will also have a good time at the event, which will include tarot card readings, raffle prizes, vegetarian food, music and dancing. General admission pre-registration to Vice is Nice (excluding the poker tournament) is $15, or $25 at the door.
