British reality TV star Charlotte Crosby, who offers her opinion of indelible inkings on the new MTV UK series Just Tattoo of Us, will help to create a better reality for cats and dogs in need as a new ambassador of an Australian animal welfare organization that has made a permanent impression on her heart.
The former star of the popular series Geordie Shore recently paid a visit to Animal Welfare League Queensland‘s Gold Coast Rehoming Centre. Thanks to the combined efforts of this Animal Welfare League Queensland adoption center and the non-profit organization’s rehoming centers in Beenleigh, Warra and Willawong, approximately 15,000 homeless pets receive comfort and care each day.
Each year in Australia’s shelters more than 200,000 companion animals face their fate, but AWLQ is helping to lower this staggering statistic as its dedicated staff annually find forever pet parents for over 8,600 cars, kittens, puppies and dogs. (In the first four months of 2017 alone AWLQ has already united more than 2,200 adorable adoptables with forever families.)
By taking on the role of an Animal Welfare League Queensland ambassador Charlotte Crosby has followed in the footsteps of such famous Australian fans of our four-legged friends as Olympic gold medalist Sally Pearson, professional rugby footballer Chris McQueen and Nicholas Buchanan of the Gold Coast Dolphins.
