Lil BUB, Jack Black Promote #EarthToMarrakech

An intergalactic cat with the magical (and musical) ability to raise people’s spirits as she raises awareness of good causes, Lil BUB has regrouped with comic star Jack Black, this time to rock out in a PSA filmed to save the future of the third rock from the sun.

One year after they helped to shine a spotlight on the United Nations conference on climate change in The City of Light, the dynamic duo have banded together to promote the 22nd annual Session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP22), which will take place in Marrakech, Morocco from November 7 through 18.

Wanting to help her adoptive planet, Lil BUB encourages all people with a passion for compassion to send a message to help those working on COP’s mission to find achievable solutions to the problems which plague our planet. People who want to be the change that our world needs are invited to take part in a multi-language livestreamed video and real-time interaction on various social media outlets by using the hashtag #EarthToMarrakech.

The #EarthToMarrakech campaign is a product of the United Nations Foundation. Established in 1998 with financial aid from media mogul Ted Turner, the international organization joins forces with businesses and non-governmental organizations to tackle such diverse topics as ending poverty, defeating diseases, reducing air pollution, championing the empowerment of women in developing countries, and world security and peace.
