POP Cats Show Comes to Miami

Cats have always brought a bit of magic into our lives, and this fall fans of felines will gather in Miami, the Magic City, for the POP Cats Show, a celebration that combines our shared love for our pals who purr and pop culture.

Taking place one day prior to National Cat Day, what better way to show your dogged devotion to kitties than by joining a clowder of cat lovers in a visually inspurrational veneration of the divine feline!

Activities

  • In a brushstroke of genius, playful visions of artists’ muses (or, in this case, mewses)  will delight visitors.
  • Get the scoop as cat advocates discuss efforts to rescue cats in need, debunk feline-themed falsehoods that have hounded cats throughout history, and relay stories of their dogged devotion to cats.
  • Potential pet parents can meet adorable adoptables from an array of area animal welfare organizations, or simply make a few new furry friends at the venue’s feline-themed lounge.
  • Get your mitts on unique kit-inspired meowchandise as you shop for a present for your cat companion or a souvenir for yourself!
  • The sounds of toe-tapping kitty ditties will be mewsic to the ears of attendees.
  • Try to win a prize at one of the event’s many contests and raffles.

A party with a higher purr-pose, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Cat Network.  A Florida-based organization consisting of more than 2,500 volunteers and donor members, since its start in 1995 the non-profit has found forever families for more than 7,000 felines, and has helped to curb pet overpopulation by spaying/neutering more than 51,000 stray and abandoned cats.

NOTE: This is a humans-only event.

Tickets: Through August 25th $18 adult, $9 for children ages 5 – 12; until the day of the show $22 adult, $11 for children ages 5 – 12
