Football Star Thomas Keiser Visit The San Diego Humane Society

Keiser
As an outside linebacker for the San Diego Chargers Thomas Keiser may be accustomed to hearing the roar of the crowd whenever he steps on to a football field, but when he paid a visit to The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA the sports star heard purrs of appreciation as he met with some feline fans.

During a stop in the non-profit organization’s 24-hour kitten nursery, the football player became fast friends with Sprinkles, who has successfully tackled the injuries she sustained as a newborn which resulted in the loss of a foot. Sprinkles– and Leprechaun, an orphan kitten who helped her healing process through the power of friendship– will soon find themselves playing together on a home team, as potential pet parents are currently lining up to adopt the bonded buddies.

Sprinkles is one of the more than 1,000 companion animals who are cared for on any given day at The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA’s central campus, North Campus in Oceanside and Adoption Center at the Petco in El Cajon, California.
